Project Patagonia is a registered 501(c)3 non profit organization. The organization therefore relies on generous donations from individuals and foundations in order to continue our important work.

Project patagonia currently has no paid staff or marketing budget, and depends solely on work from the project leaders and volunteers. All donations go directly to support our work in Patagonia. We work hard to maintain streamlined operations and be as efficient as possible with the funds we raise. For this reason, even a small donation can make an impact.

During our first year of operations we raised over $8,000 and spent $5000. The majority of these funds went to completing our first multimedia library and computer lab, and the remaining funds are already earmarked for projects to be completed in 2007. The organization is currently raising funds for new projects, such as connecting the new computer lab at Aguada de Guerra School to the Internet, and making long-term commitments to nutrition programs.
